PSA: Cosplayers Are People Too!!

Cosplay is a hobby where people portray their favourite characters. However, outside the world of cosplay holds a sad truth. Like the LGBT community, cosplayers also suffer stereotypes and bullying just for doing what they love.

To bring this matter to light, I had a talk with Kelly who recently conducted a rather eye opening project, with the name “Cosplayers’ Real Life Occupations”. She launched this project in hopes to bring awareness to the insecurities cosplayers face.

Mystic Messenger: The Future Of Dating Sims?

My apologies to everyone I’ve had to come into contact with this past week, because I haven’t been able to stop talking about this game! Mystic Messenger only started to blow up a few weeks ago but I am already so deep into this fandom. So deep.

If you’re not familiar with it, Mystic Messenger is a dating simulation app catered mainly to females. Or as the community knows it, an otome game, a story-based game where the aim is to develop a romantic relationship between the main character (the player) and one of the game’s many good looking – and sadly, fictional – characters.

Why Katagiri Airi Is The Most Important Character In BokuMachi

Disclaimer: The following post contains spoilers from the series Boku dake ga Inai Machi.

When I watched BokuMachi for the first time, it blew my hypothetical socks off. From animation to story, characters to audio, it was everything I could ever want from a drama/psychological anime. But unfortunately, today I’m not here to extend my geeking out session (you can check out my review for that). Instead, I’m here to point out one very important character in the show that changes everything with her actions. Kayo? Sachiko? No. I’m referring to Katagiri Airi.
