Hida Kizuna possesses the HHG (Heart Hybrid Gear) ability, but it is not strong enough to make him particularly important. His older sister calls him to transfer to a strategic defense school, where many of the students (many of which are large-breasted girls) use their HHG abilities to fight invaders from another world while wearing extremely skimpy pilot outfits. Kizuna’s fighting ability doesn’t measure up, but his sister has another plan—apparently having erotic experiences with Kizuna will allow the girls to replenish their energy or power-up. It looks like his new school life is going to be full of embarrassment

This anime has a censored and an uncensored version. If you haven’t been watching enough ecchi anime then you should probably know that this is the anime’s way of saying: “Hey, this is borderline porn so PLEASE put those damn ear phones on and be wary of who could pop up behind you.” Do your part for the anime community and don’t be “seen” as a creep. Good luck!

Now that is out of the way, let’s get down to the review.

Story – 6/10

The anime honestly does not have the best story line, but at the same time, it does have one of the more “amazing plots” if you catch my drift. There are definitely two ways to watch this anime; one which is to watch it for the story and the other is to watch it for the girls.

Personally I would highly recommend watching it for the latter because, aside from very generic harem plots and scenes, the anime also does cheesy intimate one-on-one romance scenes which — if you get down to it and really think about it like a normal functional human being — no one would probably find “getting groped in the breast to get more power” as something meaningful enough to build a relationship. (Even if pretty much 90% of the male audience would want that to be true.)

You be seeing a lot of this in the anime, don't worry

“But excuse me sir, what about the actual storyline and mecha fight scenes? Surely those must be great?” To that I would say, no. Yeah, sure… maybe it’s kinda cool to see over powered mecha-suited chicks blow the living crap out of everything that classifies as “enemies”. BUT it also gets painfully repetitive at a certain point, and this became very evident when I was watching.

Halfway through the series, I was pretty much only looking forward to “actual talking and some “actual action”. The fights feel more like a needed filler between dialogue. As for the actual story, it does feel rather generic at certain parts and sometimes it gets painfully cringey to see the female cast constantly be helpless without the main characters “intervention”.

But HEY! This is an anime, nothing is obligated to follow the laws of a functional society. One thing that the show really does top notch is making the ecchi scenes hot AF. Even in the first episode, just the first 5 minutes already forces me to run and search for my ear phones because “MY GOD” did it kick off the series with some really “epic borderline-not-exactly love making scenes”. I would say that pretty much 5 points is given because of this and that 1 more point for the effort in trying to give the anime some actual story.

If you’re going to rank the shameless level of this anime on like a scale from 1 to 10 this series hits like a perfect 20. I find myself dying in a lot in the episodes because of how ridiculous certain moments can be.

Character – 5/10

Character development? Don’t bother. You’re looking at a harem, why would you want “character development”? Just kidding. Surprisingly, the series actually did bother to put in some character development. However, it is really generic and something you would sorta expect from a harem.

Basically, what the show does is make every female cast have some sort of troubled past and their current condition is as helpless as heck. In order for them to improve from this current condition, they have to acknowledge that they would need the help of the main character. This isn’t a spoiler because if you look back at all the other harem series this sort of “character development” isn’t exactly new.

But worry not male audience!Lacking in character development? The girls are still pretty much perfect as they are with or without the main character. Both physically and physically of course. Also the anime does take it one more step further by helping provide fan-service for the smaller audience who might be into the “yuri” stuff too. That is correct, there is quote unquote “Girl on Girl” action in this series.

Visuals + Audio – 5/10

Probably nothing in the combat or every other supposed normal scenes are that outstanding. It’s probably quite regular at this point. But the ecchi scenes? 190/10. (Provided you’re watching the uncensored version, which you definitely should).

Audio wise, as well, nothing really stands out a lot. Even the opening and ending songs didn’t really catch much of my attention. Mostly found myself skipping the whole thing to dive into the more “interesting” parts of the anime. But the audio for the “ecchi” scenes are seriously 10/10.

Still 10/10

Still 10/10

If you’re gonna watch this anime for the story, I’m terribly sorry. It isn’t really that good. But if you’re going to be watching this for the girls and you love seeing the main character over and over again in a bunch of shameless and ridiculous scenarios with the girls… THIS ANIME IS FOR YOU!
But please exercise caution. THIS is some very dangerous borderline hentai anime stuff.
