• Once Upon A Hallow’s Eve: Is it a good idea to go out on Halloween Eve?

Hello everyone! I know it is a little bit weird and late for introducing a game with Halloween theme during the New Year, but, if you are a person who likes romance and mystery, this game is really worth your attention!

This game was released on 31 October 2016 by a team from Visual-Wordplay lead by Ran S. who was responsible for the scripting and coding of the game. The other members include erumin for sprites, CGs and GUI, Natasha for Idea bouncer and Dreamgazer for proofreading.

The game is available to download on the Google Play Store and App Store. It is also downloadable for Windows, OS X and Linux. According to Ran S., the game can be found on Steam Greenlight as well!

  • Comic Fiesta 2016: Day 1 & Day 2

Comic Fiesta is the biggest and most consistent event in the Malaysian ACG (animation, comics & gaming) community. Perhaps, because of that, it doesn’t even feel like the end of the year until another CF has come and gone. The event has been around since 2002 which makes this year its 14th year in operation.

This year, the event was held at PWTC which was far more widespread, if not bigger, than last year’s venue. This could only mean two things: (1) A larger area to check out, and (2) Sore, sore feet.

In fact, the sheer amount of standing, walking and waiting in lines was enough for many to give up attending Day 2 of the event. Not that it stopped Comic Fiesta from pulling in 45,000 visitors, keeping up with last year’s tally.

And it sure as hell didn’t stop us either. Here is a round-up of all the excitement that went on that weekend!

  • Porter Robinson & Madeon’s Shelter Has A Sequel?!

It’s been months since the music video for Shelter came out, but that melody and story still hasn’t left me. A young girl named Rin left alone, comatose and floating through space, trapped inside a virtual world of her own creation for years and years and years…

They say it’s an eternal sleep, one that she will never wake up from – but what if there was proof that she would?

While I was looking through Reddit, I came across an interesting thread linking Shelter to one of Porter Robinson’s previous songs Sad Machine from his debut studio album Worlds. The song is a duet between a human and a robot telling the story of a girl who has “slept a hundred years” and “awakened again”. How suspicious…

  • One Line Sketch – A Game You Can Play Without Wi-Fi!!

Hello everyone! It’s Sera again! This time, I would like to introduce an easy game that requires some thinking.

The game I want to introduce is One Line Sketch. I’m not sure whether this game is newly released or released for quite some time. I just happened to download it because my hostel internet connection is always unstable. So, I downloaded some games that doesn’t need to connect to the internet.

Back to the topic, One Line Sketch is an offline game released by GreenTree, a South Korean company. The company has released a lot of easy-to-play offline games for iOS and Android players. It is downloadable from the App Store or Google Play Store.
