• Interview with Alex Fong, from Toysbar

Whenever there is Pokémon, there will also be the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG)! During the Pokémon Sun & Moon Launch Event, the attendees and fans were given the chance the try and play Pokémon TCG at the Tutorial Booth by Toysbar. With that, we took this opportunity to have interview with Toysbar themselves!

Interviewer: For our viewers who may not know you and what is Toysbar, care to give us a short introduction of yourself and what is Toysbar?

Alex: Toysbar is basically a shop that specialises in Trading Card Games (TCG). We have been running TCG for 17 years, since 1999. Initially, we started off with Pokémon as our first ever TCG way back in 1999. So you can say that Toysbar was around during the first Pokémon’s craze, and we are still around.

  • 100 Years Love With A Vampire – Having A Vampire As Your Pet?

As the title says, what I want to talk about is VAMPIRES! I think most of you will imagine that I am going to talk about the kind of vampires in the Twilight Saga or The Vampire Dairies. But, no! Today we are going to meet the cutest vampire!

In the game 100 years Love with a Vampire that was developed by Lady Wizard, they introduced the cute, but at the same time, handsome and chibi vampire. It is a very simple and easy story game. This game was originally a Japanese game but has been translated into 3 languages which are Korean, English and Traditional or Simplified Chinese.

  • The Challenges That Artists Face (feat. Why The Heck Not)

We introduced you to Why The Heck Not two weeks ago. While asking him some questions for that post, he revealed some interesting insight into the challenges of being a new artist trying to enter the scene. Instead of jam-packing it into the previous post, I’ve decided to share that transcript with you here.

Firstly, the competition. It is the general rule of thumb to be supportive of all artists and all the styles and techniques and general aesthetics that come out of it (and of course, it is not without reason – we should always strive to support our fellow artist companions).

  • Project Dark: Darkness Rising 2016 – Day 1

During the beginning of December, we attended Project Dark: Darkness Rising which was held in Medini Mall. This was the first time Project Dark was ever held and their mission for this event was to “bring a dimension of darkness to the cosplay community, [hoping to] revitalize the competition scene for cosplayers with new and exciting concepts.”

The venue was quite easy to find using Waze, and in case you are wondering where Medini Mall is, it is directly opposite the famous Legoland! (Which is in JB! Hooray for JB!) However, that place is “infamous” for being quite warm and, oh boy, let me tell you, it sure was.
