• PSA: Cosplayers Are People Too!!

Cosplay is a hobby where people portray their favourite characters. However, outside the world of cosplay holds a sad truth. Like the LGBT community, cosplayers also suffer stereotypes and bullying just for doing what they love.

To bring this matter to light, I had a talk with Kelly who recently conducted a rather eye opening project, with the name “Cosplayers’ Real Life Occupations”. She launched this project in hopes to bring awareness to the insecurities cosplayers face.

    Number of episodes: 12

    Summary:
Hida Kizuna possesses the HHG (Heart Hybrid Gear) ability, but it is not strong enough to make him particularly important. His older sister calls him to transfer to a strategic defense school, where many of the students (many of which are large-breasted girls) use their HHG abilities to fight invaders from another world while wearing extremely skimpy pilot outfits. Kizuna’s fighting ability doesn’t measure up, but his sister has another plan—apparently having erotic experiences with Kizuna will allow the girls to replenish their energy or power-up. It looks like his new school life is going to be full of embarrassment

  • ‘Little Nightmares’ Revisits Your Worst Childhood Fears

I may be a complete wuss, but that doesn’t stop me from indulging in my one true, ironic passion. That is, horror games. Despite the fact that you’ll never catch me playing one for more than 5 minutes, I love – and I mean love – binge watching horror game walkthroughs. It’s kind of weird, right?

But this odd interest of mine is exactly why I’m here today. When I heard the one and only Bandai Namco was picking up an indie horror game – what more, a Tim Burton-esque, platformer horror game – I knew something special was about to go down.

Now, are you ready to face your childhood fears?

  • Introduction to Touhou Music

The following article was contributed by Toori!

With the visit of TAM of TAMusic and Akai Ryuusei of Tokyo Active NEETs to Malaysia at Animangaki this year, I find this to be an opportunity to introduce to you all about Touhou Music. This term may be familiar to most or even all who are into Touhou Project. Heck you might even be into Touhou because of Touhou Music like me. To those who are new to Touhou Project, there is a past article written about the series, do read it up.

Touhou Music is a form of doujin music or fan-made music made through remixing, rearranging and adding vocals/lyrics to the original bgm song of Touhou Project composed by ZUN. Below are songs for comparison. The first song is U.N.オーエンは彼女なのか? (U.N. Owen was her?), the theme song for the boss character, Flandre in Touhou 6: Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.

  • Mystic Messenger: The Future Of Dating Sims?

My apologies to everyone I’ve had to come into contact with this past week, because I haven’t been able to stop talking about this game! Mystic Messenger only started to blow up a few weeks ago but I am already so deep into this fandom. So deep.

If you’re not familiar with it, Mystic Messenger is a dating simulation app catered mainly to females. Or as the community knows it, an otome game, a story-based game where the aim is to develop a romantic relationship between the main character (the player) and one of the game’s many good looking – and sadly, fictional – characters.
